Indonesian TIAS Scholarship Program 2026-2027 I am pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has received a call for applications for the TIAS scholarship program for Master’s and PhD studies in Indonesia for the 2026-2027 academic year, specifically for faculty and teaching assistants. Applications are open until April 17, 2026. Applicants must first obtain a letter of recommendation and access to an online application account from the Indonesian Embassy after their application has been reviewed. To this end, candidates are requested to send all required documents, along with a request for access to the platform and a letter of recommendation to the program, to the Indonesian Embassy in Algeria via this email address: alger.staf.pensosbud@kemlu.go.id Please note that the required documents are detailed in the attached document. Therefore, we would be grateful if you could submit a single application package per university (regardless of field, program, or specialization), along with the digital application as described in the attached document, and the following documents: 1. Copy of the certificate of valedictorian issued by the academic advisor; 2. Copies of academic transcripts. Please note that only universities are authorized to submit application packages. Short-Term Exchange Scholarship (STS) Program 2026-2027 Following correspondence from the Directorate of Cooperation and University Exchanges, I am pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has received a call for applications for the Short-Term Exchange Scholarship (STS) program, lasting from four to six months, for the 2026-2027 academic year. This program is funded by the Canadian government for the benefit of Algerian students and researchers. It should be noted that institutions wishing to send their students to Canada under this program must have previously concluded a framework agreement with a Canadian institution. To this end, the institutions concerned are invited to nominate their students to the partner organization so that Canadian institutions can finalize the application process before March 31, 2026. Programme “Young Female Scientist 2026”

Programme “Young Female Scientist 2026” Following correspondence from the Deputy Director of University Cooperation and Research Programmes, I am pleased to inform you of the launch by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), in collaboration with Okayama University (Japan), of a call for nominations for the “Young Female Scientist Programme 2026.” Launched in 2020, this programme aims to strengthen the human capital of developing countries in the fields of science, technology, and innovation, and to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It offers eligible young female scientists the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research at Okayama University for a period of 14 to 30 days, between October and December 2026. Applicants must be under 40 years of age, hold a PhD or be enrolled in a doctoral program, be proficient in English or Japanese, and demonstrate [the following]: of an excellent academic record. To this end, I would be grateful if you would take the necessary steps to nominate one candidate per institution by March 12, 2026, at the latest, by completing the attached application form. The applications received will be submitted to the Secretary General, who will select the candidate whose file will be forwarded by the authorized services of the MAECNEAA to the Permanent Mission in Geneva on March 16, 2026.
