Call for Projects – African Think Tank Platform (ATTP) Following the correspondence from the Deputy Director of Planning, University Cooperation and Relations (SDPCUR/DCEU), I am pleased to inform you that we have received a message from our Consulate in Addis Ababa regarding the launch by the African Union Commission (AUC) of the African Think Tank Platform (ATTP) on July 24, 2025. This initiative, implemented in partnership with the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) and the AU Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), is receiving USD 50 million in World Bank (WB) funding to support projects in the following areas: Economic transformation and governance, Climate change, Regional trade, Food security, Human capital development, Digitization. AUC Vice-Chairperson, Ambassador Selma Malika HADDADI, officially launched the Platform, reaffirming the African Union’s commitment to strengthening the role of African Think Tanks in evidence-based policymaking, in line with the aspirations of Agenda 2063. 📌 The Commission invited interested Think Tanks to submit their projects by September 24, 2025. 👉 Submission modalities and eligibility criteria are available at: https://africathinktankplatform.africa/callforproposal To this end, I would be grateful if you could take the necessary steps to invite: Academic researchers, Permanent researchers, Members of thematic networks and others, to consult the call for projects and submit their proposals online.

Launch of the Call for Projects for Algerian-Japanese Technical Cooperation (JICA) – Fiscal Year 2025-2026 As part of the dissemination to the academic and research community, and following the communication from the Director General of Academic Cooperation and Exchange, I am pleased to inform you of the call for projects launched by the Government of Japan, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), for the Japanese fiscal year 2025-2026. Project applications should be submitted to the Directorate of Academic Cooperation and Exchange at the following address: prg.coopr@mesrs.dz, no later than July 28, 2025.   Attached are the technical cooperation application forms, which must be duly completed and comply with the following guidelines: The project title must include the word “The Project for”; Projects related to “Individual Expert” or “Individual Training” must not include the word “Project”; The title must not include the name of the country or the type of technical cooperation; The first letter of each word in the title must be capitalized.
