Call for Nominations for the 2026 UNESCO Prize for the Education of Girls and Women

Call for Nominations for the 2026 UNESCO Prize for the Education of Girls and Women Following correspondence from the Assistant Director of University Cooperation and Research Programs, I have the honor of forwarding to you, for wide dissemination within the academic and research community, the concept note, in French and English, for the call for nominations for the 2026 UNESCO Prize for the Education of Girls and Women. This prize recognizes exemplary and innovative contributions from individuals, institutions, and organizations engaged in activities that promote the education of girls and women. It should be noted that this prize, supported by the People’s Republic of China, will award two (2) laureates, each with a prize of USD 50,000. To this end, I would be grateful if you could send us one (1) application file per institution, for submission to the Secretary-General, who will select the three (3) best qualified candidates to be proposed to UNESCO on behalf of our country. Please note that the application file must include: a curriculum vitae; a cover letter highlighting the candidate’s contribution to the relevant theme.
