This programme aims to support the preparation of a doctorate in the following fields Veterinary medicine Computational intelligence and the Internet of Things Regenerative biology Applied psychology Language of instruction: 36% in English or in bilingual English-Spanish formatTraining method: Face-to-face and/or hybrid Deadline for nominating one candidate per region: 27 April 2025This candidate will then be proposed to the Spanish side as soon as possible.

Invitation to participate in UNESCO working groups for gender equality in science For distribution within your institutions, I have the honour of forwarding to you the call for participation launched by UNESCO as part of its “Closing the Gender Gap in Science” initiative.As part of the UNESCO Call to Action “Closing the Gender Gap in Science”, the UNESCO Gender Equality in Science team is delighted to invite you to the 2nd series of the UNESCO Actions Groups for Women in Science. These open-ended working groups provide a valuable space to connect, exchange, and co-create with a diverse network of stakeholders. Together, we will explore upcoming UNESCO initiatives under this Call to Action, share good practices and innovative ideas, and identify opportunities for collaboration to advance gender equality in science.The next series of working group meetings will take place online (via Zoom) in May 2025, and will be held in English. Below, you will find the schedule and registration links, with each Action Group focused on one of the three key pillars of the Call to Action: – Action Group for Pillar 1 – Enhancing the visibility of female role models to dismantle gender stereotypes and biases in science: Wednesday, 14 May 2025, 3pm – 4.30pm (Paris time) Registration link – Action Group for Pillar 2 – Developing innovative and inspiring educational strategies and initiatives to open educational pathways for girls in science: Monday, 19 May 2025, 3pm – 4.30pm (Paris time) Registration Link – Action Group for Pillar 3 – Implementing policies and actions that promote inclusion, diversity and equity to create work environments that attract, retain and advance women scientists: Wednesday, 28 May 2025, 3pm – 4.30pm (Paris time) Registration Link The agenda and background documents for each session will be sent by email to all registered participants in advance.
