Launch of the Call for Projects for Algerian-Japanese Technical Cooperation (JICA) – Fiscal Year 2025-2026 As part of the dissemination to the academic and research community, and following the communication from the Director General of Academic Cooperation and Exchange, I am pleased to inform you of the call for projects launched by the Government of Japan, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), for the Japanese fiscal year 2025-2026. Project applications should be submitted to the Directorate of Academic Cooperation and Exchange at the following address: prg.coopr@mesrs.dz, no later than July 28, 2025. Attached are the technical cooperation application forms, which must be duly completed and comply with the following guidelines: The project title must include the word “The Project for”; Projects related to “Individual Expert” or “Individual Training” must not include the word “Project”; The title must not include the name of the country or the type of technical cooperation; The first letter of each word in the title must be capitalized. Launch of the 2025 European Award for Innovative Drug Prevention Projects As part of the launch of the 2025 European Award for Innovative Drug Prevention Projects, and based on a letter from the National Office for the Fight against Drugs and Drug Addiction, I am honored to inform you that registration for this award, organized by the Pompidou Group of the Council of Europe, has begun. This competition targets European countries, as well as member states of the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Cooperation in the Fight against Drugs (MedNET), including Algeria. It aims to recognize the effective role young people play in improving their environment and promoting community health through innovative drug prevention projects.
