This scholarship is open to students holding a Bachelor’s degree (4 years) or completing a five-year program under the LMD (Bachelor’s + Master’s) system. Appointment of Mandate Holders Specializing in Human Rights Following correspondence from the Assistant Director of University Cooperation and Research Programs, I have the honor to inform you, for wide dissemination to the entire academic and research community specializing in human rights, that the United Nations Human Rights Council will, at its next three sessions, appoint mandate holders, a list of whom is attached to this correspondence. These sessions are as follows: 62nd session: June 15 to July 10, 2026; 63rd session: September 7 to October 9, 2026; 64th session: February to April 2027. To this end, I would be grateful if you could ensure the dissemination of this call for applications and send us the curriculum vitae (CVs) of potential candidates once their applications have been submitted online. UNESCO-King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of ICT in Education

UNESCO-King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of ICT in Education For the purpose of disseminating this information to the entire academic and research community, I am honored to inform you of the launch by the Directorate-General of UNESCO of the call for applications for the 2026 edition of the UNESCO-King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education. The theme of this year’s prize is “Reinventing Creativity and Critical Thinking with Artificial Intelligence,” and two (2) laureates will be selected and awarded US $25,000 each. This Prize was established in 2005 with the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Its objective is to reward the projects and activities of individuals, institutions, other entities, or non-governmental organizations that demonstrate models of excellence, best practices, and the ingenious use of information and communication technologies to promote learning, teaching, and educational performance in general. In this regard, our country, as a member of UNESCO, is invited to submit up to three (3) nominations by May 8, 2026, online and through the National Commission.
